Szelegiewicz 1968:
Europa; dane niepewne, gdyż był do niedawna mylony z gatunkiem poprzednim.
Żyje na turzycy dzióbkowanej — Carex rostrata Stokes i turzycy sztywnej — Carex hudsonii Bennet.
