Taxon description
Prószyński et Staręga 1971:
Rzadko spotykany gatunek, znany poza Polską z Francji, Danii, Niemiec, Szwajcarii, Austrii, Jugosławii, Węgier, Rumunii i ZSRR (okolice Moskwy, Uzbekistan). Żyje w miejscach suchych i ciepłych, wśród traw. Stanowiska na Nizinie Mazowieckiej i w Puszczy Białowieskiej są niezbyt pewne, być może chodzi tu o pokrewny gatunek – Synageles venator (Luc.), gdyż były one często mylone.
