Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1973:
Gatunek zachodniopalearktyczny rozmieszczony w prawie całej Europie (nie znany w Skandynawii), podany też z północnej Afryki, Kaukazu, Azji Mniejszej i Iranu. W Polsce dość rzadko spotykany. Okazy zbierane przez T. Trellę z okolic Przemyśla należą do Tachys (Eotachys) micros (Fisch.), natomiast w zbiorze B. Kotuli znajdują się liczne okazy Tachys (Eotachys) bistriatus (Duft.) z okolic Przemyśla (J. Makólski*). Zasiedla pobrzeża wód bieżących, rzadziej stojących, przekładając nad inne gleby gliniaste.
