Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1979:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony głównie w północnej i środkowej Europie, na zachód sięgający do Francji, a na południe do Włoch i północnego Bałkanu, ponadto notowany z Kaukazu, Syberii i Ameryki Północnej. W Polsce prócz wysokich partii górskich prawdopodobnie występuje na całym obszarze, lecz nie znany jeszcze z wielu krain. Spotykany na torfowiskach, podmokłych łąkach wśród mchów oraz na bagnistych pobrzeżach wód pod napływkami, rozkładającymi się szczątkami roślinnymi, wśród żwiru i otoczaków.
