Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1990b:
Gatunek występujący w południowej i w południowo-wschodniej części Europy, na północ docierający do Słowacji i zachodniego Podola. W Polsce z całą pewnością nie stwierdzony. Dawne wzmianki z ubiegłego wieku o występowaniu na Śląsku i w Beskidzie Zachodnim opierały się prawdopodobnie na pomyłce, gdyż nie znalazły potwierdzenia w spisie chrząszczy śląskich J. Gerhardta (1910). Bionomia poznana niedostatecznie. Na Słowacji poławiano go na ciepłych stanowiskach murawowych i miedzach. Jako roślinę żywicielską podawano przytulię pospolitą — Galium mollugo L.
