Gatunek zamieszkujący góry i pogórza środkowej Europy, podawany również z Masywu Centralnego we Francji, nie znany z Alp. Zasiedla torfowiska i tereny bagienne w lasach, spotykany wśród mchu i pod but wiejący mi liśćmi.
