Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1992:

Gatunek o niedostatecznie poznanym rozmieszczeniu, notowany z nielicznych stanowisk w Europie Środkowej, z Anglii i Dalmacji. W Polsce znany dotychczas tylko z ośmiu krain. Żeruje przeważnie na osice, rzadziej na białodrzewiu, topoli czarnej i wierzbach. Opada strzały i gałęzie. Żerowisko jak u innych gatunków omawianego rodzaju.
