Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1995:
Gatunek obejmujący zasięgiem południową, środkową i wschodnią część Europy. W Polsce należy do rzadkości — jest znany tylko z sześciu krain. Występuje na suchych łąkach i w widnych zaroślach. Poławiano go od maja do połowy lipca na koniczynie pagórkowej — Trifolium montanum L. Rozwój tego ryjkowca i jego cykl rozwojowy nie są poznane.
