Szelegiewicz 1968:
Szeroko rozmieszczony w Europie.
Gatunek jednodomny i holocykliczny. Żyje na pędach i łodydze różnych gatunków jastrzębca — Hieracium pilosella L., Hieracium umbellatum L. i Hieracium laevigatum Willd.
