Taxon description
Heintze 1990:
Motyl występuje w VI, VII do poł. VIII. Młode gąsienice bardzo różnie ubarwione — od czarnozielonych do jasnobrązowozielonych, przed ostatnią linką jednakowo szarobrązowo ubarwione z czterema czarnymi plamami na ostatnich segmentach. Plamy te pozostają po ostatnim linieniu i są ważnym elementem rozpoznania przy oznaczaniu gatunku. Gąsienice wielożerne żerują jesienią i po przezimowaniu na roślinach zielnych. W maju przepoczwarczają się płytko w ziemi w słabych oprzędach.
