Taxon description
Gatunek o niedostatecznie poznanym rozsiedleniu, wykazywany z południowych prowincji Szwecji i Finlandii, z Francji, Belgii, Polski, Czechosłowacji i Siedmiogrodu. Wszędzie, również w Polsce, znany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk. Wykazany u nas tylko z trzech krain, podawany także na podstawie stanowiska w Hurku, leżącego na Nizinie Sandomierskiej, z Beskidu Wschodniego: okolice Przemyśla (Dominik 1955) i Przemyśl (Horion 1961). Bionomia i cykl rozwojowy nie są znane. W Finlandii chrząszcze poławiano za pomocą strząsania z suchych gałęzi osiki, w Słowacji znajdowano je na topolach i wierzbach.
