Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1985:
Gatunek mało znany, notowany dotychczas z Finlandii, europejskiej części ZSRR, znad Amuru i z Korei. Z Polski dotychczas notowany tylko ogólnikowo, możliwe, że na podstawie dawnych danych o występowaniu w Mińsku, miejscowości leżącej w odległości około 250 km na wschód od obecnej granicy. Stosunkowo niedawno odkryty w Puszczy Białowieskiej. Omawiany chrząszcz jest jednym z najbardziej charakterystycznych pod względem zoogeograficznym elementów koleopterofauny Puszczy Białowieskiej. Dokładne zbadanie rozsiedlenia D. erythroptera (Baudi) we wschodniej części kraju jest bardzo wskazane, gdyż przez nasz kraj przebiega zachodnia granica jego areału. Bionomia nie znana.
