Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1974:
Gatunek górski i podgórski, rozpowszechniony w Europie Środkowej oraz w północnych częściach Półwyspu Bałkańskiego i Włoch. Z Polski notowany z całego obszaru nizinnego i wyżynnego w południowej części kraju z wyjątkiem Kotliny Nowotarskiej, Sudetów Wschodnich i Tatr. Wzmianka o występowaniu na Pojezierzu Mazurskim pochodzi sprzed prawie 100 lat. A. Horion (1941) wątpi o zasiedleniu tego obszaru przez omawiany gatunek. Zamieszkuje przeważnie lasy podgórskie i doliny rzeczne, w górach dochodzi do 750 m n.p.m.
