Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1995:
Gatunek europejski, obejmujący zasięgiem środkową część kontynentu, od Francji aż po Ural. W Polsce rzadko i sporadycznie spotykany, znany tylko z siedmiu krain. Żyje na dębie szypułkowym — Quercus robur L. i dębie bezszypułkowym — Q. sessilis Ehrh. Larwy żerują pod korą gałęzi, gdzie przebiega również przepoczwarczenie.
