Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1976:
[KFP 692: Ochthebius eppelsheimi] Gatunek o niedostatecznie znanym rozmieszczeniu, podawany ze środkowej Europy oraz europejskiej części ZSRR. Z Polski wykazany przed kilkudziesięciu laty z jednego tylko stanowiska, występowanie jego współcześnie u nas musi być potwierdzone nowszymi materiałami. Warunki ekologiczne słabo poznane, poławiany niekiedy w towarzystwie Ochthebius (Homalochthebius) minimus (Fabr.).
Burakowski et al. 2000:
[KFP — (692b): Ochthebius flavipes] Mało znany gatunek, nie notowany w katalogu chrząszczy środkowoeuropejskich (Lucht 1987). Z Polski stosunkowo niedawno notowany z Wrocławia na podstawie materiału muzealnego z XIX wieku, ze zbioru K. Letznera. Do czasu potwierdzenia materiałem współczesnym, tymczasowo nie zaliczamy omawianego gatunku do fauny Polski.
