Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1990b:
Gatunek szeroko rozprzestrzeniony w północnej części Holarktyki, występujący w środkowej i północnej Europie, docierający do północnych prowincji Fennoskandii. Żeruje na liściach wierzb, na których niekiedy pojawia się gromadnie. Łowiony od maja do sierpnia, najczęściej na wierzbie iwie — Salix caprea L., wierzbie szarej — S. cinerea L. i wierzbie uszatej — S. aurita L.
