Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1985:
Gatunek rozsiedlony w Afryce Północnej i w całej Europie południowej (na północ docierający do Czechosłowacji i południowej części Polski) oraz w Azji Mniejszej, Zakaukaziu, Syrii i Libanie. W Polsce należy niewątpliwie do wielkich rzadkości, jest znany tylko z czterech krain. Rozwija się w pniach, gałęziach i pędach winorośli, zwłaszcza w opuszczonych i dzikich winnicach. Larwa żeruje pod korą, budując przed przepoczwarczeniem komorę w drewnie. Postacie dojrzałe pojawiają się od maja i występują do lipca.
