Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
[KFP 1084: Agyrtes noheli] Gatunek niedawno opisany o niedostatecznie poznanym rozmieszczeniu, poza Polską notowany tylko z Czechosłowacji.
Burakowski et al. 1978:
[KFP — (1083b): Agyrtes bicolor] Gatunek rzadko i sporadycznie spotykany w środkowej i zachodniej Europie; północna granica jego występowania przebiega przez Francję, Belgię, Holandię, Danię, RFN, NRD, Czechosłowację i Siedmiogród, ponadto notowany z Turkiestanu. W Polsce z całą pewnością nie stwierdzony. O występowaniu na Śląsku wątpi M. Mroczkowski (1955). Omyłkowo wykazany z Krakowa i Babiej Góry (J. Pawłowski 1967, 1968) na podstawie błędnego oznaczenia Agyrtes noheli Hlisnikovský (P. Nohel*). Również dane z Sudetów dotyczą raczej innych gatunków (M. Mroczkowski*). Istnieje jednak możliwość znalezienia tego chrząszcza na naszym obszarze, gdyż notowany jest z Brandenburgii i Słowacji. Spotykany przeważnie w murszejących, starych drzewach, pod korą i mchem pokrywającym pniaki i powalone pnie, rzadziej w gniazdach mrówek Formica rufa L.
