Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1991:
Gatunek szeroko rozprzestrzeniony w północnej części Europy, w Fennoskandii sięgający za koło podbiegunowe, ponadto znany z nielicznych stanowisk w środkowej i południowej części kontynentu, Afryki Północnej, Azji Mniejszej i Środkowej. W Polsce chrząszcz rzadko spotykany, notowany tylko z sześciu krain. Żyje na wierzbownicy błotnej — Epilobium palustre L., podawany też z krwawnicy pospolitej — Lythrum salicaria L. i wierzbownicy drobnokwiatowej — Epilobium parviflorum Schreb.
