Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1983:
Gatunek stosunkowo niedawno opisany, znany z nielicznych stanowisk, w środkowej, wschodniej i południowo-wschodniej części Europy oraz w Azji Mniejszej. W Polsce niedawno odkryty; według Z. Stebnickiej (1976) występuje na całym obszarze, jednak brak jeszcze udokumentowanych danych z wielu krain, zwłaszcza z północnej części kraju. Postacie dorosłe poławiano od maja do lipca na różnego typu glebach w ekskrementach krów, owiec i dzikich zwierząt.
