Gatunek o nie znanym rozmieszczeniu ogólnym; opisany z Zaleszczyk (Ukraińska SRR), niedawno odkryty w Gródku koło Hrubieszowa (woj. Zamość); jest na pewno przez Podole szerzej rozmieszczony w kierunku wschodnim i na terenach kserotermicznych w kierunku zachodnim. Bionomia nie znana z powodu skrytego sposobu życia w zamieszkałych norach susłów
