Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1981:
Gatunek znany głównie z wyższych gór w środkowej części Europy. W Polsce notowany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk w południowej części kraju, przy czym na nizinne stanowiska śląskie prawdopodobnie znoszony bywa z obszarów górskich wodami powodziowymi. Ogólnikowe wzmianki sprzed przeszło 100 lat o występowaniu na Pobrzeżu Bałtyku i w Prusach wydają się być niewiarygodne. Występuje w górach do strefy kosodrzewiny, na Babiej Górze łowiony na wysokości 1500-1600 m, a w Sudetach 800-1300 m n.p.m. Występuje przeważnie w miejscach wilgotnych, zwłaszcza w pobliżu topniejących płatów śnieżnych.
