Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986a:
Gatunek rozmieszczony w środkowej i północnej Europie, w Fennoskandii docierający do koła podbiegunowego; notowany poza tym z Kaukazu. W Polsce bardzo rzadki, znany tylko z dwu krain południowych. Występuje głównie w gniazdach budowanych przez ptaki, w dziuplach drzew, prócz tego znajdowany w murszejącym drewnie i pod odstającą korą.
