Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986c:
Gatunek zamieszkujący głównie zachodnią część Podobszaru Śródziemnomorskiego, w Europie wykazywany z Półwyspu Iberyjskiego, południowych części Francji i Szwajcarii oraz północno-zachodnich Włoch. W Polsce z całą pewnością nie stwierdzony. Z uwagi na rozmieszczenie ogólne, wykazany na pewno omyłkowo z Polski przez M. Łomnickiego (1913). Błędnie podany z Grodziska Wielkopolskiego (Szulczewski 1922) na podstawie mylnie oznaczonego okazu kornika Leperisinus fraxini (Panz.) (Mroczkowski 1954, 1975). Bionomia tego gatunku nie jest dokładnie poznana.
