Taxon description
Omawiany podgatunek znany głównie z północnej Europy i północnej części środkowej Europy. Z Polski notowany przed przeszło stu laty. Występowanie omawianego podgatunku w naszym kraju wymaga udokumentowanych danych. Ogólnikową wzmiankę o występowaniu na Śląsku prawdopodobnie należy odnieść do drugiego niżej omówionego podgatunku. Poławiany na piaszczysto-gliniastych pobrzeżach wód i na wilgotnych, słabo porośniętych zboczach dołów po wybranej glinie i piasku.
