Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1991:
Gatunek rozsiedlony w Europie od strefy roślinności śródziemnomorskiej do Danii, południowych prowincji Fennoskandii i Karelii, na wschód docierający do Syberii Zachodniej. Mimo braku udokumentowanych danych z niektórych krain występuje prawdopodobnie w całej Polsce z wyjątkiem wyższych partii górskich. Spotykany najczęściej na piaszczystych ugorach, poboczach dróg, suchych pastwiskach i nasłonecznionych zboczach. Poławiany na bylicy polnej — Artemisia campestris L., krwawniku pospolitym — Achillea millefolium L. i wrotyczu pospolitym — Tanacetum vulgare L.
