Prószyński et Staręga 1971:

Gatunek zapewne borealno-górski, znany z Wysp Brytyjskich, Finlandii, Francji, Szwajcarii, Niemiec, Czechosłowacji i europejskiej części ZSRR. Żyje we mchu, w lasach i na torfowiskach.
