Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986c:
Gatunek zamieszkujący południowo-zachodnią i zachodnią część Europy, na wschód docierający do Holandii, Nadrenii, Bawarii i Włoch, notowany ponadto z Algierii. Dane o występowaniu w Europie Środkowej należy odnieść bądź do Charopus concolor (Fabr.), bądź do Charopus flavipes (Payk.). W Polsce z całą pewnością nie występuje. Dawne dane sprzed przeszło stu lat o występowaniu w czterech krainach nie znalazły później potwierdzenia.
