Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1992:
Gatunek rozsiedlony w południowej i środkowej części Europy, notowany ponadto z Kaukazu. W Polsce wykazywany z nielicznych stanowisk rozmieszczonych w siedmiu krainach południowych. Bionomia tego gatunku poznana niedostatecznie. Jako roślinę żywicielską większość badaczy podaje jawor — Acer pseudoplatanus L. Owady dojrzałe pojawiają się w kwietniu i poławiano je do lipca. Samice składają jaja do tutek sporządzonych z części liścia.
