Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1986c:

Gatunek występujący w zachodniej, południowej i środkowej części Europy, wykazany poza tym z Syberii, Kaukazu i Azji Mniejszej. W Europie Środkowej w miarę posuwania się na wschód i na północ coraz rzadziej spotykany. O występowaniu w byłych Prusach wątpi A. Horion (1953). Z Polski notowany tylko z dwóch stanowisk w Beskidzie Zachodnim na podstawie znalezisk przed przeszło stu lat, dlatego też obecne zasiedlenie naszego kraju wymaga dalszych badań. Występuje na terenach nizinnych i pagórkowatych, zwłaszcza na nasłonecznionych zboczach kserotermicznych. Bionomia nie jest poznana.
