Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986b:
Gatunek znany z południowej Europy, Madery, Kaukazu, Azji Mniejszej, Iranu, Turkiestanu i południowej Syberii. Ten ciepłolubny chrząszcz bywa niekiedy notowany z izolowanych stanowisk w południowej części Europy środkowej, ale doniesienia te budzą wątpliwości u wielu autorów. W Polsce nie występuje, a według R. Bielawskiego (1959) został mylnie podany z Ojcowa.
Burakowski et al. 2000:
Gatunek rozsiedlony w południowej części Palearktyki, w Europie Środkowej notowany tylko ze Słowacji oraz przed 1910 r. z Czech. W Polsce wykazany błędnie w 1914 r. z Ojcowa; z braku okazów dowodowych nie zaliczamy go do fauny krajowej. Również obecne dane z 1994 r. (Pawłowski i inni) są niewiarygodne.
