Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 2000:
Gatunek opisany z Austrii i środkowej Francji; występujący w południowej i środkowej części Europy na izolowanych reliktowych stanowiskach. W Polsce odkryty 15.VI.1981 r. koło Białowieży, pod rozkładającym się pniem brzozy leżącym na ziemi na skraju silnie nasłonecznionej polany. Bionomia tego gatunku nie jest znana. Występuje w drzewostanach liściastych; poławiany w zmurszałym drewnie, pod przegrzybiałą korą i chrustem, w ściółce leśnej i wśród rozkładających się szczątków roślinnych.
