Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1987:
Gatunek rozmieszczony głównie w środkowej części Europy, w Fennoskandii i Karelii, na wschód przez Syberię docierający do Amuru. Wszędzie, również w Polsce bardzo rzadko i sporadycznie spotykany. W Polsce notowany tylko z trzech krain południowych. Znajdowany głównie w hubach na drzewach iglastych (sosna, świerk, modrzew), w Szwecji spotykano go również na brzozie. Jako grzyby żywicielskie podawano: pniarek obrzeżony — Fomitopsis pinicola (Sw. ex Fr.) P. Karst. i czyreń sosnowy — Phellinus pini (Thore ex Fr.) Pil.
