Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986c:
Gatunek znany głównie z Europy Środkowej, całej Francji i północnych Włoch oraz z nielicznych stanowisk w południowych częściach Anglii, Szwecji i Finlandii. W Polsce wykazywany z pojedynczych stanowisk tylko w pięciu krainach. Rozwój larwalny tego gatunku przebiega w hubach oraz w butwiejącym drewnie drzew liściastych przerośniętych grzybnią. Jako materiał lęgowy notowano pasożytnicze grzyby: hubiak pospolity — Fomes fomentarius (L. ex Fr.) Kickx oraz włóknouszek płaczący i szczotkowaty — Inonotus dryadeus (Pers. ex Fr.) Murr. i I. hispidus (Bull. ex Fr.) P. Karst.
