Taxon description
Gatunek palearktyczny, rozmieszczony w prawie całej Europie (oprócz północnych części Fennoskandii i Karelii), na wschód przez Syberię docierający do Władywostoku. W Polsce notowany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk. Zamieszkuje tereny nizinne i niższe położenia górskie. Znajdowany przeważnie na rozkładających się szczątkach organicznych.
