Taxon description
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w europejskiej części Rosji, na wschód docierający do Riazania, Czelabińska, Tomska i Irkucka, a na zachód sięga po Karelię, Finlandię i Szwecję. W Polsce notowany tylko z dwu stanowisk w Puszczy Białowieskiej; w ogólnym zasięgu stanowiska te są najdalej wysunięte w kierunku południowo-zachodnim. Chrząszcz jest ściśle związany z lasami o pierwotnym charakterze.
