Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1981:
Szeroko rozprzestrzeniony słonolubny gatunek, zasiedlający piaszczyste wybrzeża morskie w prawie całej Europie, notowany ponadto z Azorów, Kalifornii i Australii. W Polsce występować może tylko nad Bałtykiem, ale i stamtąd jest tylko ogólnikowo wykazany. Wzmianka o występowaniu w Białowieży jest niewiarygodna. Znajdowany przeważnie pod wyrzuconymi na brzeg morszczynami.
