Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1992:
Gatunek rozsiedlony głównie w środkowej części Europy, notowany poza tym z południowych prowincji Fennoskandii oraz Syberii. Kornik zrosłozębny w Polsce znany jest z nielicznych stanowisk w dziesięciu tylko krainach, na ogół rzadko spotykany, pospolity tylko w północno-wschodnim zasięgu świerka. Żeruje głównie na świerku, rzadziej na sośnie i limbie. Opada zwykle górną część strzały i grubsze gałęzie. Żerowisko typu gwiaździstego słabo zaznaczone w drewnie. Jest groźnym szkodnikiem świerka zwłaszcza w północno-wschodniej części kraju. Pułapki leżące opada bardzo słabo.
