Taxon description
Heintze 1990:
Rzadki i lokalnie obserwowany gatunek spotyka się w środowiskach młodych lasów dębowych i miejsc nasłonecznionych, porośniętych młodymi dębami i dębowymi krzakami. Motyl lata z przerwą na zimowanie od IX do V. Gąsienice żerują na niżej położonych gałęziach dębów oraz na niskich, pojedynczo rosnących krzakach dębów od V do VII. W poczwarki zamieniają się w oprzędach na ziemi lub płytko w ziemi.
