Kawecki 1985:
Gatunek szklarniowy. Pochodzi ze Wschodniej Azji; znany z Francji i Włoch oraz ze szklarni w licznych krajach. Żywicielem są trawy (rodzina Gramineae); w Polsce stwierdzony na bambusach.
