Turcja, Iran, Irak, Związek Radziecki, Grecja, Hiszpania, Szwajcaria, Korsyka. W Polsce żywicielem jest sosna zwyczajna; występuje także na jałowcu oraz gatunkach z rodziny cyprysowatych (Thuja L. i inne).
