Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1980:
Gatunek zamieszkujący prawie całą Europę, w Fennoskandii sięgający daleko poza koło podbiegunowe, poza tym znany z Syberii. W Polsce znany z nielicznych, rozproszonych stanowisk. Występuje głównie na niżu i podgórzach, ale jako synantrop dociera również w górach do strefy subalpejskiej. Znajdowany w pryzmach kompostowych, pod ekskrementami, wśród gnijących resztek słomy, siana i wypielonego zielska.
