Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1991:
Gatunek szeroko rozmieszczony, występujący od krajów śródziemnomorskich po koło podbiegunowe; notowany również z Kaukazu. W Polsce znany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk w różnych częściach kraju. Występuje na pobrzeżach wód, łąkach bagnistych, w rowach i mokrych zaroślach. Żeruje na różnych gatunkach krwawnic — Lythrum L., tojeści — Lysimachia L., zwłaszcza na tojeści pospolitej — L. vulgaris L.
