Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
Podgatunek rozsiedlony w prawie całej Europie, na północ sięga do środkowej części Fennoskandii, a na wschód do środkowej Azji. Podgatunek nominatywny znany tylko z Japonii, Korei i Mandżurii. Omawiany podgatunek w Polsce dość pospolity, choć rzadko wykazywany, z wyjątkiem wysokich gór prawdopodobnie występuje wszędzie, ale nie jest znany jeszcze z wielu krain. Znajdowany w wyciekającym soku z różnych drzew liściastych, zwłaszcza brzóz i buków, niekiedy pod padliną i w nawozie.
