Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1978:

Gatunek borealno-górski, rozmieszczony głównie w północnej i środkowej Europie, w Fennoskandii docierający do koła podbiegunowego, na zachód sięgający do Francji, a na południe do Włoch i Jugosławii. W środkowej Europie uważany za relikt okresu lodowego. W Polsce notowany z pojedynczych rozproszonych stanowisk górskich. Występuje przeważnie na pobrzeżach lasu, porębach, polanach i drogach leśnych; łowiony na trawach wśród mchów, pod przegrzybiałą korą, opadłym listowiem i innymi butwiejącymi szczątkami roślinnymi.
