Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1992:
Gatunek zamieszkujący południową i środkową część Europy, na północ sięgający po Wyspy Brytyjskie, Danię i południową Szwecję, notowany także z Syberii i Algierii. W Polsce dość rzadko spotykany, znany z nielicznych stanowisk tylko w siedmiu krainach. Postacie dojrzałe po przezimowaniu w glebie ukazują się w kwietniu i przeżywają do lipca. Chrząszcze związane biologicznie z dębami. Samice składają jaja do ogonków liściowych lub do żyłek środkowych na liściu.
