Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986a:
Gatunek szeroko rozprzestrzeniony od krajów śródziemnomorskich przez całą środkową Europę aż do południowych części Anglii i Szwecji, nadto notowany z Madery i Syberii. W Polsce notowany z nielicznych stanowisk rozmieszczonych w zachodniej i południowej części kraju. Zasiedla tereny nizinne i niższe położenia górskie. Spotykany na suchej padlinie (zwłaszcza ptaków), kościach i skórach; pojedynczo spotykany wiosną na kwiatach tarniny i głogu.
