Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986c:
Gatunek rozsiedlony w południowej i środkowej części Europy, notowany poza tym z Kaukazu, Zakaukazia, oraz Afryki Północnej, Zairu i Afryki Południowej. W Polsce znany z nielicznych stanowisk, przy czym większość danych opiera się na znaleziskach sprzed kilkudziesięciu, a nawet przeszło stu lat. Bionomia tego gatunku nie jest poznana. Postacie dojrzałe poławiano przeważnie w starych budynkach drewnianych, na ścianach szop, składów i stodół oraz na kwitnących roślinach w pobliżu starych domów.
