Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1979:
Gatunek szeroko rozprzestrzeniony w południowej części Palearktyki, notowany również z Regionu Orientalnego i Australijskiego. W Europie na północ sięgający do Wysp Brytyjskich i południowych prowincji Fennoskandii. W Polsce dość pospolity, występuje na całym obszarze. Omyłkowo notowany z Paczkowa (Łęgosz-Owsianna 1963). Zasiedla głównie wilgotne, szlamiste pobrzeża wód, tereny bagienne, łąki wilgotne; na jesieni znajdowany również w ściółce na pobrzeżach lasu i zarośli.
