Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1990b:
Gatunek zamieszkujący środkową i północną część Europy, w Fennoskandii sięgający za koło podbiegunowe, a na wschód docierający do Syberii Zachodniej. W Polsce, aczkolwiek nie jest znany z wielu krain, występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze prócz wyższych partii górskich. Postacie dojrzałe ukazują się w maju i są spotykane do jesieni. Łowiony głównie na brzegach rowów melioracyjnych, potoków i stawów. Jako roślina żywicielska podawany jest przetacznik bobowniczek — Veronica beccabunga L.
